Join us for the opening reception of “Painted Pups”, a new art exhibition by Paint A Miracle on display in the Teen area of the library’s second floor. Guests can meet the artists, enjoy light refreshments, and hear opening remarks from Paint A Miracle Executive Director Shelly Propson Lennon.
Paint A Miracle, founded in 2002, is a Michigan nonprofit that provides people with disabilities and other challenges the opportunity to explore the arts in an atmosphere of hope, growth, and encouragement.
The “Painted Pups” series features colorful, layered portraits of dogs created by six local artists, each bringing their own unique perspective and style. The exhibition will be on view through April, marking the launch of a new partnership between Paint A Miracle and the library to host two exhibitions each year.
Free and open to all ages. Exhibit on view through April.
