Detroit Philanthropy will host “Beyond the Proposal: Relationships, Readiness, and Funding Decisions” on April 21 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at The Corner Ballpark, 1680 Michigan Ave. 

The panel brings together foundation leaders to discuss how nonprofits can strengthen proposals and build meaningful relationships with funders. Speakers include LaTrice McClendon, Cindy Rowell, and Andrew Echt, moderated by Rachel Decker. The discussion will cover how foundations evaluate proposals, assess readiness, and prioritize alignment. 

Registration is $30 and must be completed by April 10 at detroitphilanthropy.com.
