  • Halloween Movie Night: Friday, October 7 at dusk. Free. Come watch a screening of Hotel Transylvania at Knight Amphitheater in Riverside Park. A special giveaway will be offered to every child! More information here
  • Stone Wall Pumpkin Festival: Saturday, October 8. Pumpkin carving & activities 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., pumpkin lighting 7 to 9 p.m. $5 for museum members, $10 nonmembers, children 2 and under free. No pre-registration required. Carve your own pumpkin at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen farm and enjoy pumpkin bowling, musical entertainment, crafts, and food. Guests are asked to leave their pumpkin on the stone wall for the pumpkin lighting, then may take it home the following day. More information here
  • Fall Festival in the Woods, Saturday, October 8th, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Enjoy the beauty of autumnal woods in Auburn Hills’ Hawk Woods Park & Campground with cider and donuts, hayrides, forest crown craft, a visit from Princess Merida, and more. Tickets are $2 per person, 2 and under are free. More information here.  
  • Trick or Treat Downtown: Saturday, October 15th, 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. Families are invited to trick or treat at the spookiest stores, partake in a costume parade, then party at the Halloweenfest at the farmers market! More information here
  • Hoot ‘n’ Howl Hayride: October 15, 7:30 - 9 p.m. $7 per person. Bloomer Park. Join Naturalists at Bloomer Park for a hayride to search for nocturnal animal activity. Enjoy a campfire, cider and donuts following the hayride. Meet a few live, nocturnal animals. Pre-registration required here
  • Rochester Hills Public Library Fall Friends Used Book Sale: October 20, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; October 21-22, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; October 23 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Shelves full of gently used books and DVDs for everyone. More information here
