- Independence Day Music Festival, Sunday, July 2, 1pm to dusk. Visit the Veterans Tribute of Oakland Township for a family friendly music festival. Sing along to patriotic tunes, listen to talented musicians, and grab some grub from food vendors. Attendance is free but donations are always welcome. - Friday Nights Downtown Music Series, kicks off Friday, July 7. Head to the Knight Amphitheater in Auburn Hills’ Riverside Park for free concerts every Friday night. Concerts go 7-8:30pm. For more information, visit the Auburn Hills website.
- Free Pilates classes, Monday July 10 & Wednesday July 12, 7:30-8:30am. Oakland University Professor Thayer Jonutz will be instructing free Pilates classes in studio 109, Varner Hall on Oakland University’s campus. Check-in begins at 7am. - Wet and Wild Wednesdays, Wednesdays in July, 12-2pm. This beloved family fun tradition is back at the Van Hoosen Museum! Entertainment begins at 12, then two massive slip-n-slides for kids opens at 1. Tickets are required and can be purchased the day of the event. - Movies in the Moonlight, July 15, 22, & 29. Bring your own chairs to the corner of E. Third & Water Streets for a free outdoor movie! Top Gun Maverick is showing July 15. - Fine Art at The Village, Saturday, July 29 10am-8pm to Sunday, July 30 12-6pm. The Village of Rochester Hills will close down traffic through the shopping plaza for the 19th annual art festival. Participants can search this free event for Easter eggs–some will have $1 bills and others could have $25 to $100 off coupons at participating artist booths!
