  • Arts & Apples Festival, September 8-10. Friday 2-7 pm; Saturday 10 am-7 pm; Sunday 10 am-4 pm. The Rochester tradition is back at the Rochester Municipal Park! Featuring over 200 fine artists, make and take creations for all ages, food vendors and live entertainment all three days. Free admission, and free parking and shuttle service from Adams High School.   • Troy Family Daze, Thursday-Sunday, September 14-17. Enjoy everything from live entertainment to an Animal Oasis to a fireworks display and so much more! Troy Family Daze takes place at the City of Troy Campus on Big Beaver Rd. Admission is $5 per person, children 10 and under free. Some activities and carnival rides may cost extra.   • Tons of Trucks at the Detroit Zoo, Sunday, September 17, 9 am to 1 pm. Check out all sorts of trucks and vehicles from various local organizations and companies. Face painting, photo opportunities, an obstacle course and axe throwing will also be available. Admission is $3 for non Zoo members, and receive a discounted zoo admission after the event!   • Bicentennial Celebration: Stoney Creek Village, Sunday, September 17, 12-5pm. Celebrate 200 years of Stoney Creek with live musical entertainment, informational speakers, fun crafts, and more!
