  • Halloween Movie Night, Saturday, October 6, 7:30pm. Watch The House with a Clock in its Walls at Riverside Park in downtown Auburn Hills. A special giveaway will be offered to each child. For more information about this free event, visit the event Facebook page.
  • Stone Wall Pumpkin Festival, Saturday, October 14. Pumpkin carving & activities 10 am to 4 pm, pumpkin lighting 7 to 9 pm. Carve your own pumpkin at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen farm and enjoy pumpkin bowling, musical entertainment, crafts, and food. Help Van Hoosen Farm break the record of 1,011 pumpkins lit at the same time! $5 for museum members, $10 nonmembers, children 2 and under free. No pre-registration required.   • Disney Movie Trivia, Saturday, October 14, 1:30-2:30pm. Celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary with a trivia competition and themed prizes. Free, but pre-registration is required. Visit the Auburn Hills Library website to register and for more information.
  • Trick or Treat Downtown, Saturday, October 14, 3:30-6:30pm. Bring the whole family to Downtown Rochester for trick or treating, a costume parade, photo opps, pumpkins and more. For more information, visit DowntownRochesterMI.com.
  • Friends of the Library Fall Used Book Sale, Thursday-Sunday, October 19-22. The public is welcome to shop shelves of gently used books and DVDs for all ages. For more information, visit RHPL.org.
  • Halloween Hoot, Friday - Sunday October 20-22, 5:40 pm-9:10pm. Enjoy some spooky family fun on the Dinosaur Hill trails and help raise funds for trail maintenance. Groups leave every 10 minutes.
