  • Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm Drop In Tours, weekends in April starting April 5, 12-3 p.m. Peruse everything at Van Hoosen Farm on your own or take a guided tour at 1 p.m. $5 for adults.   • Face Off Against Cancer Hockey Game, Saturday, April 6, 2:30 p.m. The Rochester police and fire departments will face off on the ice, all to raise money for New Day Foundation. Tickets $10 per person and they offer a family 4-pack for $35. To get tickets or donate, click here.
  • Partial Solar Eclipse Events, April 8, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Join the Cranbrook Institute of Science for a variety of free, family-friendly science activities in the lead up to the partial solar eclipse. Pre registration is required. To register and to learn more, click here.
  • Sap-to-Syrup Pancake Breakfast, Saturday, April 13. Watch an old-fashioned tapping for maple syrup right at Bloomer Park, then enjoy that syrup at a pancake breakfast.   • Spring Stroll, Saturday April 13, 11 a.m to 2 p.m. This family-friendly event to welcome spring in downtown Birmingham lets registered participants visit downtown stores to collect giveaways and complete activity sheets. The Music of New Orleans & Swing with Matthew Ball The Boogie Woogie Kid, Sunday, April 14, 3-4 p.m. Listen to New Orleans Song, Boogie-Woogie Piano, and Swing Dance Era Favorites from the Classic American Songbook at this free concert at the Rochester Hills Public Library.
