STart Youth Theatre Performing Their Production of Moana Jr. At the Flagstar Strand Theatre
(Pontiac, MI- ) The STart Youth Theatre has created its own production of the popular Disney movie, Moana. This show will star many talented children throughout the community and showcase their talent for the public to enjoy. STart Youth Theatre is a non-profit youth program that offers a diverse and high-quality arts program that aims to create a positive contribution to the cultural, educational, and economic development of Pontiac and its surrounding communities.
The Moana Jr. production is based on the 2016 Disney film Moana and will star several children's talents from Pontiac and Oakland County. The production will have multiple showtimes that will take place at the Flagstar Strand Theatre in Pontiac. Jen Luke, Vickie Crouse, and Angela Goetz are all leading contributors to this production and have helped in the development of this event.

Moana Jr. is presented through special arrangements with Music Theatre International (MTI). This performance is made possible by sponsors of both the program and scholarships. Program Sponsors include Oakland University, Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs, and the Pontiac Collective Impact Partnership. Scholarship sponsors include American House of Bloomfield Hills, Rochester Rotary Charities, Masco Corporation, Wells Fargo, and Individual Donors.
