Bark & Brew Event and 5K Run presented by Chief Financial Credit Union

Join Chief Financial Credit Union and Leader Dogs for the Blind for the unofficial kickoff to the summer season: Bark & Brew! Leader Dogs for the Blind is excited to announce that Bark & Brew is returning to Griffin Claw Brewing Company in Rochester Hills at Crooks & M59! The community is also invited to lace up your running shoes on Saturday, June 4 either in-person or virtually for the Bark & Brew 5K!

Bark & Brew is an outdoor, family-friendly event! Support Leader Dog while you enjoy a famous Griffin Claw brew, live music, a kids' play area with inflatables, carnival games, and rock wall. Meet and greet with Future Leader Dogs, Leader Dogs in training, and working Leader Dogs.

The Bark & Brew 5K features both 5K and 1-mile routes and will take place at Bloomer Park (no entry fee for the park is required for anyone participating in the run/walk).

The 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run both include free entry to Bark & Brew after the run at Griffin Claw Brewing Company in Rochester Hills from 11 a.m.–7 p.m.

Pre-registration for $8 tickets ends June 3 at 11 pm. Bark & Brew tickets will be available on June 4 online and at the door for $10.

Registration for the 5K ends on June 04, 2022. Can't make it to Rochester on race day? Participate virtually on June 4 from wherever you live and share your experience on social media using the hashtag #barkandbrew5K!

5K participants receive a race t-shirt, medal, race bib, and a coupon for a free, age-appropriate beverage at the Bark & Brew event.

Fun Run participants also receive a race t-shirt, race bib, and a coupon for a free, age-appropriate beverage at the Bark & Brew event.

Take your Bark & Brew 5K experience to the next level by fundraising along the way! Participants who fundraise and meet certain goals will receive special prizes including a plush Leader Dog puppy, a Leader Dog t-shirt, and a Leader Dog Braille travel mug!
